The Cinnabar Process.

  • STEP ONE: First Contact

    We’ll schedule a free half-hour consultation so you can meet the Cinnabar team, ask questions, and decide the best route to fulfilling your website dreams. This consultation will be conducted virtually via Google Meets.

  • STEP TWO: Project Calendar and Contract

    If you’re ready to transform your business we’ll book your project on the design calendar. The contract will be signed, and the first payment will be submitted to hold your date. Once we agree on a timeline we’ll send you a detailed questionnaire about your life, your art, and your website dreams. You’ll also get a list of the things we’ll need from you, like your contact info, great photos, text copy and color palette we’ll use on your site.

  • STEP THREE: Content Collection

    We’ll rely on you to provide us with high-quality photos of your work, your studio, and yourself. We can’t create a great artist website without great photos! If you have a photographer friend who can get great shots, go that route. If you want to hire a professional, we can put you in touch with some local photo pros. Or if time and scheduling permit, you can hire Lawrence to come to your studio for a few hours to get what will be needed.

  • STEP FOUR: Project Start

    On your project start date, we’ll have a kick-off call to review what you’ve collected during the preparation period, review your design and functional requirements, and ask each other any relevant questions before the build begins. We focus on only one client at a time, so your project will have your lead designer’s full design attention from this point until handoff!

  • STEP FIVE: Design/Build

    During this phase, the Cinnabar team will be busy building out your site based on everything we’ve reviewed and agreed upon. All you have to do is provide us with feedback on the drafts at the scheduled times until the big Launch Day!

  • STEP SIX: It's a Wrap!

    Your new site is ready for its grand debut! We’ll have a 60-90 minute video conference call during which the team will hand over your new site and train you on how to maintain and update it. This session will be recorded so you can have the video to refer back to any time you need it.

    Before your launch, we’ll tie up any loose ends and make sure all your tech questions get answered, so updating your site will be a breeze. Then it’s time to launch your new website! We’ll be there to cheer you on. If you ever need help with site maintenance or added functionality, we offer affordable a la carte services to help you.
